On 17-18 September 2019, ReEnTrust researchers have participated in the AI@Oxford conference, held at Oxford University’s Said Business School. AI@Oxford is an annual event organised by Oxford University Innovation to showcase the University and region’s research and innovation in this rapid innovating technology sector. This year the conference has been designed to be jointly co-located with the 100+ Brilliant Women in AI+Ethics Conference in Oxford, which the ReEnTrust team is also very actively involved in.
The conference has been organised into three key themes: technology and applications of AI; AI in healthcare; and AI in society.
- Prof Marina Jikota, the PI of the ReEnTrust project, has led a Responsible Research and Innovation session in the AI in society theme, and
- Senior Researcher, Dr Jun Zhao, has given a Ted-like talk about toring-your-children”>AI and children’s privacy in the same theme.
The recordings of these talks are also going to be made available at the conference web sites shortly.
